Goes top of Group 'A' table

Heavyweight Ireland recorded a 46-run win over United States (US) in the ICC World T20 Qualifier at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast, Ireland on Sunday. US bowed out in 16.3 overs.
The win took Ireland, which takes on Nepal tomorrow, on top of Group 'A' standings with four points. Nepal trails Ireland by a point.
Chasing the modest total of 147, US, which won the toss and elected to field first, was restricted to 100 runs by Ireland.
Alex Cusack, Stuart Thompson and John Mooney bagged two wickets apiece for Ireland. Nicholas Stanford scored highest 19 runs for US while Adil Bhatti contributed 17 runs for.
Earlier, Ireland posted 146 runs on board for the loss of six wickets in its allotted 20-over after losing the toss and invited to bat first.
Andy Balbirnie fell six run short of completing half century as Kevin O'Brien contributed 23 runs.
Timil Patel bagged three wickets for US while Hammad Shahid took two.
