JHAPA: Daily public life in the district has been hit hard since this morning due to bandh enforced by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N).
The party has called district-wide strike in protest against what it said police intervention on peaceful protest programme organised against the public opinion collection on the preliminary draft on Tuesday.
As a result, all passenger buses remain off the road while industries, businesses and schools are forced to close down.
The Madhes-centric parties enforced Tarai bandh on Tuesday.
The continuous strike called by different parties has adversely affected normal life in the district.
Many travellers have been left stranded with today’s bandh announced all of a sudden.
