UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a five-day visit to India, met Indian Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The discussion between the duo reportedly revolved around promulgation of new constitution in Nepal, and consolidating bilateral relations between the two neighbors.
The meeting took place at 1:15 in the afternoon. Dahal had met Indian foreign secretary S Jaishankar before meeting Swaraj.
Although Dahal’s meeting with the Indian Prime Minister and President is not yet finalized, it is on the plan. Dahal is in India upon the invitation of the Government of India.
