United States of America Ambassador to Nepal Peter W. Bodde paid a courtesy call on Minister for Information and Communications and Spokesperson for the government, Minendra Rijal on Wednesday.
During their meeting at the latter's office in Singha Durbar, Ambassador Bodde expressed his concerns over the reconstruction of tourism, education and the health sectors in the aftermath of the earthquake and the development agenda, the Ministry said in a press statement.
On the occasion, the two discussed the matters of promoting Nepal's communication sector with the help of the US assistance.
Nepal Telecommunications Authority Chairman Digambar Jha and Foreign Ministry officials were also present on the occasion. RSS
