Lawmakers to use air route to reach remote people for feedback on draft constitution

The Constituent Assembly (CA) members will use air route to travel to remote districts to collect people's feedback on the first integrated draft of the new constitution.
Helicopters will be chartered to reach Humla and Dolpa for people's feedback on the constitution, Secretary at CA Secretariat Mukunda Sharma said. CA members and Secretariat officials are visiting the districts for the same.
Earlier today, in a meeting with the chiefs of the security bodies, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala instructed the former to cooperate with the CA members in collecting public suggestions. On the occasion, he also called on the Nepali citizens to provide their constructive feedback on the draft. He said promulgation of a democratic constitution was possible only through consensus and unity
