The main opposition UCPN (Maoist) boycotted today's parliament meeting accusing the government of endorsing incomplete budget for the fiscal year 2015/16.
The Maoist lawmakers stood up and obstructed the meeting soon after Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat presented the Appropriation Bill-2072 BS for discussion.
Among others, the party has accused the budget of not paying heed to the post-quake reconstruction and the peace process in the budget.
Prior to the boycott, Maoist's Chief Whip Giriraj Mani Pokharel spoke in the parliament about the budget being 'discriminatory'.
