More than dozen people were reportedly injured in Jumla clash as it got heated when police tried to contain the protest against the inclusion of Karnali zone in the far-west province during the recent federation of states. Tension rang high in Jumla with the protest reaching fifth day.
It has been learnt that the clash was ensued after police reportedly resorted to pelting stones at the demonstrators—the latter condemned of using ‘violent force’ to disrupt the peaceful rally. RSS
