Nepali athlete Kanchhi Maya Koju wins bronze in Canada

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Kanchhi Maya Koju has won the bronze medal in the North Face Endurance Challenge in Ontario, Canada on Monday.
The 10th South Asian Games silver medallist, Koju completed the 10-km race in 1:08:46 hours to finish third.
Ashley Comstock of Canada won the race with the timing of 1:06:11, while Canadian Mary Thompson finished second in 1:06:12.
The race features the most pronounced elevation gain trail race in all of Ontario, according to the official website of the event.
The North Face Endurance Challenge cruises along the Niagara Escarpment on the western shores of the Georgian Bay and navigates through the ski trails of the Blue Mountains.
Earlier in June, Nepali ultra-runneMira Rai had won the Mont Blanc Skyrunner World Series in Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley, France.
